Factanza

Factanza is an Italian media company that makes quality information accessible to the new generations. It has become one of the main news references for Italian Gen Z and Millennials — covering economics, politics, culture, and society with journalistic rigor and formats native to digital. Beyond media, Factanza operates in digital education through Factanza Academy, and supports brands and organizations that want to speak to young people in a meaningful way through a dedicated agency division.
On March 31st, ZNEXT acquired a majority stake in Factanza Media, marking the exit of previous investors Primo Capital and PranaVentures. Founders Bianca Arrighini (CEO) and Livia Viganò (COO) retain full operational leadership, and the brand continues to operate with complete editorial independence. The goal is to accelerate Factanza Media’s next phase of growth — across media, education, and agency — while keeping intact the identity and credibility it has built.
“Bianca and Livia have done something genuinely difficult: they took complex topics and made them accessible to a young audience without dumbing them down. That’s not something you build through shortcuts — it takes years of serious editorial work. This is exactly the kind of company we want to build something lasting with.”
Elena Lavezzi, CEO of ZNEXT
“When we evaluate a company, we don’t just look at the numbers — we look at the quality it has built overtime. Factanza Media brings together a large and engaged community, proprietary content, and editorial credibility. Our goal is to support its growth while keeping intact everything that made it one of the most recognizable new media brands in Italy.”
Marco Parente, Corporate Venture & M&A Lead at ZNEXT
“We built Factanza Media with the belief that information and education are a single tool for generating real impact on the world around us. ZNEXT’s entry opens a chapter we have been looking forward to, and it will bring a lot of new things. We will grow on the education front, with new products and learning programs, strengthen our relevance as a media outlet, and further develop our agency model alongside companies and large organizations that genuinely want to speak to the new generations — not just reach them. We will remain at the helm, with the same identity and values as always, but with more tools to do even better.”
